Our Southport Site has now been increased to 90 places and our Tweed Heads South site is 60 places to be increased to 90 places in the coming weeks. We have had a 90% attendance rate for both sites and Tweed Heads South has hit their first target of 100 computers for kids with Southport only 10's away!
We have 3 successful participants who are now staff members on the two week paid work trial moving onto the wage subsidies. Gold Coast has been inundated with pallets from local companies and we have had interest by a local cafe to fit out their new cafe with our new pallet style table and chairs.
Gold Coast have also managed to secure a new activity called Community Wood Project which will be located in a new site in Southport where we will be upcycling wooden furniture and making pallet wood furniture to furnish the homes of survivors of domestic violence. Our new Social Media activity has also launched where Gold Coast will be uploading their new green foot print to the multi-media space.
